New Horizons

I've always made graphics in my free time, well since I was 11 or so when I first started fiddling with paint on my mom's new computer. Being young, I just scribbled everywhere and then changed the color and filled the open spots with the bucket tool. Usually drawing just random random things, such as stick figures or character's visages from the hit t.v. show of the time, Dragonball Z. I found myself growing more fond of the art and more of computers and just everything that went with it.

After a couple of months I was tired of paint and started to draw on paper, which was something that I used to always do. I'd just doodle things and sometimes they'd look decent and sometimes you couldn't tell what the heck I was doing.

I kept the pace to a couple drawings a week, not spending too much time on each item. Though as I got older I seemed to lose interest in drawing, and with my brother making fun of me for not participating in sports and trying to get with girls I strayed away from the subject to try and better myself. Pointless, but no regrets. I'd probably be a better graphic artist, or just artist in general if I hadn't done that.

Back in about... 2005? 2006? I discovered the magnificent thing called Photoshop. It was at Photoshop CS at the time I believe, and they were about to release Photoshop CS2 in the following couple of months.

As Photoshop advanced so did my ability.

Today, I'd have to say that I'm at a decent skill level and am capable of doing enough to start publishing what I make on the internet.

Saying that, I'd like to tell you my proposal. I wish to make a new graphic almost everyday, be it something small or something large. It may be a WIP showing, but it is still updating.

Enjoy my blog. :]
